Step by Step

step by step

I wrote about stepping stones recently and this is a follow up to keep interested readers on track.

The first step is to write down your intentions and keep them by your bed at night. Whatever you would like to achieve or aspire to is more powerful in written form. Reading the written word regarding your desires is a strong method for achieving your aims. An example might me: “I would like to bring good fortune to myself in every area if my life. Specifically; finances, family, friendships” etc.

step by step

Knowing what you would like to achieve becomes more potent when required areas are read and is a method for getting on track and keeping focused in a positive direction and commitment. This will enforce thinking and behavioural patterns because it is a procedure for getting on track and not wavering or wandering off. Thoughts enter our minds constantly and Deepak Chopra said that we have some sixty thousand a day. Wow! Better to focus on what is wanted rather than drift off into so many unwanted thought patterns. Feeding the subconscious ourselves is preferable to journeying here there and anywhere wouldn’t you think?

step by step

Should you wake up during the night, then reinforcing your positive thought pattern will assist in keeping you on your predetermined journey. Repetition is powerful for staying on track and invaluable in order to make your step by step process a definiteness of purpose.

During the day, should you have a break, then a quiet time for meditation and reflection on your step by step journey will reinforce positive results. Seeing yourself achieving desired results is a positive method for helping your dreams come true. A positive mindset is essential for staying true to your intentions and getting what you would like to have and hold in this world. I recall a TV programme in the UK. “This is Your Life,” presented by Bruce Forsyth all those years ago and found it very interesting to hear where people on the programme would like to go and what they would like to achieve.

step by step

Being true to oneself is vitally important in any quest for improvement or success. Affirmations are also important throughout the day, so that focus doesn’t stray or get diverted. Being aware of saying ‘no’ to unwanted invitations (in a pleasant way of course) is a sure method for keeping on keeping on. Step by step focus is essential and maintaining a positive mental attitude vital in order not to stray off course and revert to methods that don’t serve.

Remember that this is your life and feeding positive thoughts filled with optimism is a proven method for stepping into your own power and achieving your dreams.

Hope this helps, and if you need a coach, I’m here for you!

Stepping Stones

stepping stone

Every step we take and ‘selling’ oneself is so important for advancement. How we go about the process can determine whether we arrive at a beneficial place that is satisfactory as we travel along our chosen road. And, it is imperative to believe that it is by choice we elect to go on our way. One step at a time is all it takes, and realizing we’re treading a path requires self-awareness so that we stay on course. It’s all to do with mental attitude and making our steps positive. There is nothing to gain without determination and a willingness to stay true to our beliefs and satisfactory outcomes. There may be pitfalls along the way, and these are to be anticipated in order to accept and deal with as part of the journey. Nothing comes of nothing, so how we plot our journey will determine the eventual outcome. It’s all to do with deciding what we would like to achieve and having the fortitude to stay on track whatever hindrance might pop up.

stepping stone
Obstacles get in the way for all of us. Politicians are an example as we witness one party choosing a method for advancement and their opponents poo poohing the idea. Seldom do we hear unison between one side and the other. The political landscape is often a choice for one party by we mere voters, rather than each force agreeing on a united beneficial outcome for us all.
So, be sure to make up your own mind as to outcomes being attainable. Napoleon Hill often talked about going the extra mile, and this has helped many people to stretch that little bit further in order to fulfil their desired expectations. There might have been disappointments and failure in your quest for improvement in the past. Leave those behind and resolve to attain your chosen results by committing to your desired outcome one step at a time!
Are there people you currently admire or have acknowledged in the past because of their achievements, not necessarily for personal gain, but helping others to positive outcomes? If so, then it might help to follow in their footsteps if you can discover what worked for them. Emulating their methodology could be worthwhile and beneficial as you go on your definite path to realize your dreams.

stepping stone
Reaching too far has stopped many people from achieving a desired goal, so analyse what you’ve got and be careful not to overstep your capabilities. However, it is important to close one’s mind on previous shortcomings or failures. Today is the first day of the rest of our lives, begin it with confidence and realistic expectations.
Avoid allowing greed to get in the way of your selected outcome: this has stopped many people achieving their aims. No one can do everything or be all things to all people. However, being kindly disposed to others will not get in the way. I believe that what we give out, we get back tenfold, so good luck and watch how you step!

Make Things Happen

make things happen

I believe that there are three types of people in our world: those who wonder what happened; those who watch what happens and those who make things happen. Have you ever considered into which category you might fit? Aldous Huxley, an English author who wrote, ‘Brave New World,’ which was about an imaginary place where everything was bad – ‘Dystopia’ – said that everything that happens to us is like us. Selling is an art!

We are all in sales one way or another. Whether it’s a product or you as a person, the aim is to get your point across in order to be accepted. The secret here is to question your own feelings regarding whatever it is you are offering… would you buy it? Read more

Achievement!

Achievement

Achievement! It’s been said that whatever one’s mind can see and believe, it can achieve! I don’t know whether that is a fact or a kick up the backside to alleviate doubtful minds. However, the premise is positive, and positivity is better than negativity for all of us as we wend our way through day to day activities.

Habits can be useful!

Habits Can Be Useful

Habits can be useful! The world is changing as I’ve mentioned before and we are all creatures of habit. One of mine is to go for a walk every morning, which is healthy and rewarding, and yet not everyone’s cup of tea apparently. There are many habits of course and some of them are not only anti-social, but dangerous for health. The daily news seems increasingly full of stories about cravings of all kinds, and many of them injurious to people’s well being.

Business Dealings

Business Dealings

Business Dealings. In all manner of business dealings, it is vital to find and establish the key issue. Small talk is all very well but can stray away from the main purpose. The time arrives in most business trading when you must get down to brass tacks, as it were, in order to stay on track. So easy to get side tracked if the focus gets blurred. Have no idea where the brass tacks analogy came from, but it means starting to consider the basic facts, and this is essential for common appreciation and approval of a satisfactory outcome. Nowadays it is common to talk about the bottom line, which outlines the purpose for exchanging ideas with a view to a mutually satisfactory outcome.

Step Into Your Power

Step Into Your Power

Step into your power. Does the thought of addressing a group of people hold fears for you? What about one-on-one? Is there any apprehension when attempting to voice your point of view? This is not uncommon for the vast majority of people and has become more so with the advent of mobile phones and all the current apps. Over use of these appliances has distanced people from one another, especially in the face-to-face department. However, there are ways to turn nervousness, which has encouraged people to hide behind these appliances, into dynamic energy and improve communication via the spoken word whilst in visual company with counterparts, or opposite numbers.
